The US government has gone so far out in left field it is ridiculous. It is time to get back to common sense government, the way our forefathers designed this country.
Welfare
Let's start with Welfare. Welfare is out of control. So we change the way it works. I purpose the following changes
- We deport all illegal aliens
- Being illegal and having a baby here does not give you or the baby any rights.
- Illegal aliens do not get welfare, health care, housing, or education benefits. If you are illegal you have no rights.
- Illegal aliens will be fingerprinted and checked for wants and warrants before being deported. If there are any wants and warrants they will be tried in a US court and serve the sentence for the crime before being deported.
- An illegal alien entering the United States illegally for a 2nd time will serve a 1 year prison sentence before being deported
- An illegal alien entering a 3rd time illegally will serve a 5 year prison sentence before being deported and can never enter the United States legally.
- If you are able-bodied you will work for any government assistance you receive if only community service work. The government will provide day care so that you can work. No work no government aid.
Language
The United States is an English speaking country. If you are going to live in the United States you will learn our language. All government business will be conducted only in English. You will no longer have to press 1 for English.
Education
The government will provide the opportunity for you to get an education free though High School. It is up to you to get the education. Standards will not be lowered so that one group can feel better about itself.
Discipline will be enforced in all schools. If your conduct yourself in a proper manner and you continually disrupt the class you will be expelled.
Math and Science will be emphasized along with computer science.
Gun Laws
The gun laws will be modeled after South Carolina's gun laws. When you go in to buy a gun a background check will be done on you. If you have no criminal record you can leave the store with the gun. Every law-abiding American, over the age of 21, is encouraged to arm themselves to make working conditions for criminals impossible.
Crime and Punishment
We must take control of the crime problem. I purpose the following
- Do away with parole boards and early release.
- No suspended sentences for felons
- No plea bargains on felonies
- All sentences are flat sentences. No range of sentences
- Street level drug dealers serve 20 years for selling drugs
- Drug smugglers serve life with no parole.
- Drug kingpins receive the death sentence.
- Child molesters receive life without parole.
- Killing a police officer is capital offense.
- Killing someone in the commission of another crime is a capital offense.
- The time between conviction and execution is shortened.
- Street gangs will be considered Domestic Terrorist and will be treated as domestic terrorist.
Energy
It makes no sense to buy anything from counties that use our money to fight a war against us we will longer buy oil from countries that want to kill us. We will stop buying oil from OPEC and only buy oil from friendly countries and use US oil. Doing this will cut the income of countries that want to kill us and will also drive down the price of oil. The United States will develop more alternative energy sources and will move away from our dependence on oil.
Government
This country was founded on the principle of Government of the People, By the People for the People. Not government of the corporation, by the corporation, for the corporation. I purpose the following changes:
- Anyone running for president will provide proof he is eligible to be president.
- Lobbyist will be outlawed
- No spending bill can be presented as an amendment to any other bill
- Congress will live with the same healthcare and retirement programs they force on the people.
- This is a free country. No laws can be passed the limit that freedom.
- All the freedoms taken away by the government will be restored.
- A president that weakens the defense of the United States will be guilty of treason and removed from office.
- A politician can be recalled for not representing the wishes of the majority of the people he represent.
- No laws shall be passed to prevent the free practice of any religion anywhere.
- Politicians will come under the truth in advertising laws.
- Lying to the American people is grounds for removal from office
- Taking campaign contributions from any foreign source is grounds to be removed from office
- Taking gifts of any kind or campaign contributions from corporations is grounds for removal from office.
- Taking a bribe is an offense punishable by 20 years in prison.
- Offering a bribe to a public official is punishable by 20 years in prison.
- No member of congress shall have a government supplied airplane.
- The government will not pay any expenses to take family members on an official trip.
- The size of government will be cut
- Taxes will be lowered
- No government takeover of private companies and no government bailouts of companies that still give large bonuses
- Eliminate the Electoral College.
- In the event of war politicians will not run the war. The war will be run by the military.
Foreign Aids
No foreign aid to countries that want to destroy the United States
Defense Systems
All United States defense systems must be built in the United States with US made parts. We will not rely on any other country for our defense.
Free Trade Agreements
No United States jobs can be lost for a company to build products overseas. If there is a layoff foreign jobs will be lost first and last to be rehired.
Border Security
- North and South borders will be sealed and anything entering the United States from either border will be stopped and searched for illegal aliens, drugs and weapons.
- All baggage coming into the United States will be searched for drugs and weapons.
- No container will leave any US port without being searched for drugs and weapons.
- All small craft both boats and planes entering the United States will be searched for illegal aliens, drugs and weapons.
- No immigration from terrorist countries.
